Family & Lifestyle Portraits
Hi, I’m Tanya—the photographer behind TeaRose Photography! I graduated from Saint Vincent College with a degree in psychology and elementary education, and later earned my master’s in instructional technology from Penn State. I’ve been an elementary school teacher for almost 20 years, and I truly love every second of it.
About 15 years ago, my love for capturing memories sparked a new passion. I started taking photos out of my family’s garage, cleaning the space before every session and learning everything I could about photography. With the support of my family, that humble garage slowly transformed into the dream studio I work in today. I began taking classes, studying both the art and technical side of photography—and that’s when TeaRose Photography was officially born.
Now, I feel incredibly lucky to blend my love for teaching with the joy of storytelling through photography. I’d be honored to help capture the meaningful milestones and everyday magic that make up your family's story.
Parenthood is a wild, wonderful blur of giggles, and snuggles,—and while life with little ones moves fast, I’m here to catch those sweet moments before they slip away.
I’m a proud mom to two amazing kiddos, Trip and Charlee, who are truly my whole world—along with my wonderful husband Joe and our sweet pup, Rosy. They’re the heart behind everything I do, and I love sharing this passion for photography with the people around me.

Photography is my favorite way to be creative—it's where heart meets art. I love finding beauty in the little details, playing with light, color, and movement to turn everyday moments into something magical. Whether it’s a burst of laughter, a quiet glance, or messy play, creativity lets me tell your story in a way that feels real and beautifully you.
